Who is responsible?
ELM-HQ Ltd operates the ELM game services described here. For privacy questions and requests, email contact@elm-hq.com. For technical help, use this game's support page. This notice covers the development game and its ELM HQ game pages; it does not describe every feature planned for a future release.
Local practice and connected play
Local practice keeps its game state on your device. Connected play processes an ELM account or temporary guest session, display name, game actions, match state and results to run the match. Signed-in profiles can hold progression, rating and rank. Other participants can see the display name and game information needed to play; rankings can show public game names and scores.
Eliza's role
Live Eliza receives bounded game-state information to choose legal tactics. The game route is separate from your private ELM messages, general Eliza conversation history and health information. Optional commentary uses game context. Local Practice is not a connection to your personal Eliza.
What is not enabled
The current development service does not enable human text/audio match chat or paid abilities. We do not describe those unfinished features as active data collection. If these features are enabled later, their permissions, store disclosures and privacy information must be updated first.
Statistics and retention
Server match records support progression, results, integrity checks and aggregate game statistics. These connected records are not anonymous installation analytics. Guest access tokens expire after 24 hours; that expiry does not itself erase all match history. Signed-in game information is retained to provide account progression unless removed or anonymised, subject to fraud-prevention, security and legal needs. Account-removal maintenance removes the game profile and pseudonymises shared match history so another player's results need not be deleted.
Your choices
Choose local practice if you do not want to use connected modes. Use the game's available account and online-commentary controls. Signing out does not delete server records. For access, correction or deletion, contact ELM HQ and identify MINDTRAP; do not send a password or session token.
Why we use information.
Game and account processing provides the features you request. Security, fraud prevention, support and proportionate reliability work serve our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Optional processing that requires consent depends on your choice; you can withdraw it for future collection. Legal obligations may require some records to be kept.
Service providers and this website.
Information is processed by the ELM components and providers necessary for hosting, storage, authentication, security and delivering the selected features. AI game requests are processed by our game-specific services; they are not private end-to-end encrypted messages between two people. Support messages and attachments are sent to ELM HQ. Website delivery and security systems can process network information, page requests and technical visit records. These pages use the site's existing technical/visitor systems; this update does not add an advertising pixel.
Support and security information is retained according to the time needed to resolve issues, protect services and meet legal obligations. Backups may persist until their normal replacement rather than disappearing immediately when live data is removed. If processing occurs outside the UK, applicable transfer safeguards are required.
Your rights and requests.
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent where it is used. To make a request, contact ELM HQ and identify the game. We may need to verify account ownership without asking for your password. Uninstalling, signing out or withdrawing a permission does not by itself erase server records.
You can also raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. This notice will be updated when material processing changes are introduced.
